Chinese company Coolpad entered the Indian market in October last year with Coolpad Note 3 (read Review), which is still popular device under 10000 price range. Today, the company announced a basic variant of the device, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite with 5 inch HD display and aggressively priced at Rs.6999.

Though it is named as “Lite”, there are not many compromises in terms of specifications. Talking about the design, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite looks smaller variant of the original Coolpad Note 3 with soft textured back. It sports 5 inch HD IPS display with scratch resistant glass. It is powered by 64-bit Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 clocked at 1.3 GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU. At this price point, it is the ONLY device with 3GB RAM and Fingerprint scanner.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite specifications

In the camera department, it has same 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. On the memory front, it offers 16 GB internal storage with microSD card to expand further up to 32GB. It is a dual sim device with 4G LTE support (FDD LTE-B1/B3, TDD LTE-B40). Other connectivity features include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB 2.0 port and it also supports USB OTG.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI 6.0 on top. It packs 2500 mAh non-removable battery that can offer up to 8 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time on single charge.

The smartphone will be available in Black and White color on Flash sale via Amazon from January, 28. Registration for he same will start from today at 5 pm.
