LeEco launched Le Max and Le 1s smartphones in India

LeTV, now rebranded to LeEco, has launched 2 smartphones in India named, Le Max and Le 1s. Chinese entertainment company and one of the largest online video companies in China, Letv, has already launched four smartphones in China under its Le brand – Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le Max and Le 1s. The company recently showcased Le Max Pro with Snapdragon 820 at CES2016.

To recall, the Le Max was launched in April last year and Le 1s was launched in October last year in China. The Le Max sports floating glass design 6.33 inch 2K display (2560 X 1440) protected by Gorilla Glass 3, offering a pixel density of 464ppi. The device comes in all metal unibody and almost bezel-less design and offers 80.3% screen to body ratio. The dual sim device is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 810 clocked at 2.0 GHz (4 X 2.0 GHz A57 + 4 X 1.5GHz A53) paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM. It will be available in 64 GB and 128 GB variants and it does NOT feature memory card slot. The Le Max runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with company’s custom skin, EUI, on top.

Talking about camera, the Le Max features a 21-megapixel (Sony-IMX230 sensor) rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, OIS, PDAF, dual tone LED flash and there is a 4-megapixel front camera with OmniVision OV4688 sensor. A fingerprint scanner sits just below the rear camera. Powering the device 3400 mAh battery also supports fast charging.

Le Max and Le 1s

Talking about the Le 1s, the device also features a metal unibody design with 5.5-inch Full HD In-cell display with 500nits brightness. The mid-range device is powered by 2.2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM. The Le 1s will be available in 32 GB variant and just like Le Max, it also does not feature memory card slot.

The Le 1s features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera with 85-degree wide angle lens. It also features mirror surface fingerprint sensor below rear camera. The device gets juice from 3000 mAh battery that supports fast charging. LeEco claims, just 5 minutes of charging can provide up to 3.5 hours of talk time.

LeEco has partnered with Eros Entretainment to provide a 1-year premium subscription of Eros Now. Apart from the Le Max and Le 1s, LeEco has also announced Le Max Sapphire with Sapphire screen that offers a greater degree of protection. Now the pricing part, the Le Max is priced at Rs.32999 (Silver) for 64 GB and Rs.69999 (Gold) for 128GB variant, whereas Le 1s is priced at Rs.10999 and will be available in Gold color. The Le Max and Le 1s will be available via Flash Sale on Flipkart from 2nd February (Le 1s) and 16th February (Le Max). Flipkart also announced 10% cashback via Axis Bank for the first sale. Registration for Flash sale already started on Flipkart.
