Google releases updated versions of Android Operating system and they build Hardware along with Ecosystem partners (LG & Huawei this year) every year. This year Google introduced 2 devices, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P with different price range running on Latest Android Marshmallow. First let’s have quick specifications of Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

Design

LG Nexus 5X design is almost like the LG Nexus 5. It is built from injection molded polycarbonate body and will be available in Carbon Black, Quartz White & Ice Blue colors. The Nexus 5X sports 5.2 inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the other hand Nexus 6P comes in Full Metal body and it is crafted from Aeronautical grade anodized aluminium and it has diamond cut edges and sculpted back. The device is just 7.5mm thin. It sports 5.7 inch WQHD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. 6P will be available in 3 colors; Frost White, Aluminium & Graphite.

Camera

The Nexus 5X comes with 12.3 MP rear camera with IR laser-assisted autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, 1.55 µm pixels sensor, 4K video recording and Broad-spectrum CRI-90 dual Flash. 5MP front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4 µm pixels sensor. The Nexus 6P’s main camera shares same specifications with the Nexus 5X but there is 8MP front camera on 6P with f/2.4 aperture, 1.4 µm pixels sensor and features HD video recording.

The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are available for pre-order on The Google Store in US, UK, Ireland and Japan with more countries coming in the next few weeks. Outside the US it will be available through leading retailers and carriers. Both phones will begin shipping later in October.
