Samsung has launched a new smartphone in their A-series lineup, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro. The device was announced first in China in March this year. The A9 Pro with Metal & Glass body, 6-inch Full HD display, VoLTE and 5000 mAh battery is priced at Rs.32490.

The A9 Pro has dual sim support with dedicated sim slots. 32 GB internal memory can be expanded via microSD card up to 256 GB. The device is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor (1.8GHz Quad-core (A72) + 1.4GHz Quad-core (A53)) with Adreno 510 GPU and it has 4GB RAM. The 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED Display is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 and has 2.7mm narrow bezel.
On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS & NFC. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes with the 16-megapixel rear camera (f/1.9) with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and 8-megapixel front camera (f/1.9). Similar to other Samsung flagship devices, Fingerprint scanner is also present under the Home button.
The Galaxy A9 Pro packs 5000 mAh battery which can provide 22.5 days of Standby Time, 32.5 hours of Talk Time and 26 hours of Video Playback. It also supports Fast Charging. It can be charged from 0 to 100% in 160 minutes and in 30 minutes it can charge up to 32%.
The Galaxy A9 Pro will be available online as well as in retail stores from September 26 in Gold, Black and white colors. Note that nearest competitor Xiaomi Mi Max with 6-inch Full HD display is available at just Rs.14999 (32GB). Xiaomi also promised to launch 128GB variant in India but till date, it is not yet launched.
