Motorola announced latest smartphone in Moto X series in India, Moto X Play. The device comes with larger display than previous gen. Moto X and powerful hardware. The handset is available exclusively via Flipkart in India.
Moto X Play sports 5.5 inch Full HD display which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It comes in two storage options, 16GB and 32GB. Both variants come with 2GB RAM. It is powered by 1.7GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 615 coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. It runs on latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Moto X Play features 21MP AutoFocus rear camera with dual tone LED FLash and 5MP front camera for selfie. It is a dual sim device and supports 4G connectivity on both sim. For powering the device it comes with massive 3630 mAh battery that can last up to 30 hours on single charge. It also supports Fast Charging and Motorola claims up to 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging. Sadly Motorola is not providing Fast Charging adapter in retail package, you need to buy it separately.
Other connectivity features of Moto X Play include Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and NFC. The device is available in Black and White color options and Motorola will sell swappable back covers with more color options.
