Lenovo VIBE X3 with TheaterMax and Audiophile sound launched in India

Earlier this month Lenovo launched VIBE K4 Note in India with front facing dual speakers at Rs.11998. Today the company has announced Lenovo VIBE X3 for Indian market priced at Rs.19999. It was announced earlier in November last year in China. The device comes with TheaterMax and Audiophile sound. The device is equipped with the ESS SABRE 9018C2M which gives a signal-to-noise ratio of 120db for media playback. It will go on sale on Thursday at 2 pm via Amazon India.

The Lenovo VIBE X3 features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Talking about the design, it has a metal frame with a curved back for a comfortable grip. It is powered by Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB DDR3 RAM. 32GB internal storage can be expanded via microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB. It runs on VIBE UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Lenovo said VIBE UI has been scaled back a bit and it is now lighter and faster. It has 1.5W dual stereo speakers at the front with Dolby Atmos,  Cirrus Logic Wolfson 8218 audio codec, ES9018K2M DAC chip and Texas Instrument’s OPA1612 amplifier for an enhanced audio output.

The Lenovo VIBE X3 has a 21-megapixel (Sony IMX230) main camera with 6p lens element, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, Dual LED CCT Flash and 4k video recording support. There is an 8-megapixel fixed focus front camera as well. It comes with features like Pro Mode, Smart Assist and Slow motion video support. Apart from 4G LTE (TDD – B38/B39/B40, FDD – B1/B3/B7), other connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and it also supports USB OTG. It packs 3500 mAh non-removable Li-polymer battery which can provide up to 26 hours of talk time on 3G.

The Lenovo VIBE X3 also supports TheatreMax,  delivering a large screen cinematic experience when used with AntVR headset, which was introduced with the launch of Lenovo VIBE K4 Note. The smartphone will be available in Matte White color on Amazon India starting 28th January.
