After launching the HTC One A9 and HTC Desire 828 dual sim in India, today company has announced the HTC Desire 728 dual sim priced at Rs.17990. The device was launched in China in September last year. It will be available in White Luxury and Purple Myst colors starting next week with major retailers and online stores.

Looking at the specifications, there are no major improvements compare to Desire 728G except slightly increased RAM and added 4G support. The Desire 728 shares an almost same design with Desire 728G. It sports 5.5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 X 720. It is powered by 64-bit Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2 GB RAM. There is 16 GB internal storage provided which can be expanded via microSD card up to 2 TB.
The device features dual front-facing stereo sound speakers with HTC BoomSound and Dolby Audio support. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI. Talking about the camera, it has 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. Both cameras can record videos in Full HD 1080p. It packs 2800 mAh Battery that claims to offer up to 21 hours of talk time and up to 485 hours of standby time on 3G. Apart from 4G, other connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
