Microsoft to launch Lumia 640 & 640XL in India on April 7th. Microsoft announced these mid range budget devices in MWC2015. Both devices sports good specifications with budget price.
Lumia 640
Lumia 640 is 5 inch device which has resolution of 720 X 1280 with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Lumia 640 runs on Windows 8.1 (Lumia Denim). It has 8 GB internal storage & 1 GB RAM with SD Card support up to 128 GB which is more than sufficient. Microsoft also provides 30 GB cloud storage on OneDrive. Lumia 640 is Dual Sim device with 3G & 2G network support. Battery provided is removable 25oo mAh on which Microsoft claims 20.3 hours of talk time on 3G. Lumia 640 has 8 MP camera with LED Flash on back and 0.9 MP wide angle camera on front. Rear camera can record video in 1080p (Full HD).
Lumia 640XL
Lumia 640XL is 5.7 inch device with resolution of 720 X 1280 with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has almost same specifications as Lumia 640 like, Windows 8.1 (Lumia Denim), 8 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM, SD Card support up to 128 GB, 30 GB OneDrive cloud storage etc. Lumia 640 is also Dual Sim device with 4G, 3G and 2G network support. Lumia 640XL also has NFC. It has removable 3000 mAh capacity battery and Microsoft claims 24 hours of talk time on 3G. Lumia 640XL has 13 MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5 MP wide angle front camera. Rear camera can record video in1080p (Full HD).
Both Lumia 640 & 640XL are powered by Snapdragon 400 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and Adreno 305 GPU. Both devices has FM Radio. Both devices support A-GPS, GLONASS and Free Here Maps, Here Drive & Here Transit are pre-installed.
Microsoft has launched Lumia 640 & 640XL in India. Lumia 640 is priced at Rs.11999 and Lumia 640XL at Rs.15799. Both devices will be available on Flipkart.com
