Motorola, now a Lenovo company, announced Moto C Plus for India priced at Rs.6999. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart from Tuesday 20th June. The budget smartphone features 5-inch HD IPS LCD display. It is powered by MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720MP2 GPU at 2GB RAM. There’s 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via dedicated microSD card slot up to additional 32GB. The Dual sim (nano + nano) device also supports 4G VoLTE (Reliance Jio network supported).
The Moto C Plus features 8-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture & single LED flash which can record 720p HD videos at 30fps. There’s 2-megapixel (f/2.8) fixed focus front camera for selfie shots with a single LED flash. The front camera can shoot videos in 720p HD at 30fps. Other camera features include HDR mode, Panorama, Burst mode and Beautification.
The Moto C Plus runs on Android 7 Nougat out of the box. It has 4000 mAh removable battery which can last up to 30 days on standby. The device will be available in 3 colours – Starry Black, Fine Gold and Pearl White.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 offers better Value for Money for the same price as it comes with octa-core Snapdragon 435 clocked at 1.4 GHz. Compare to Redmi 4, Moto C Plus also lacks Fingerprint scanner and IR Blaster.
